How FFL Transfers Work


Federal law requires all firearms purchased online to ship to a licensed FFL dealer — not your home. Come Get Some receives your firearm, processes the paperwork, runs your background check, and transfers it to you.

Transfer Fee: $25 — includes background check (AZ CCW holders exempt)


5 Simple Steps

  1. Shop — Buy your firearm online and select Come Get Some as your FFL dealer at checkout
  2. Contact Us — Email us your seller's info and what you purchased
  3. We Receive It — We log it in and contact you within 1-2 business days
  4. Schedule Pickup — Book your appointment online
  5. Pick It Up — Bring valid ID, complete paperwork, pass background check, take your firearm home

FFL Transfer Policy

  • All transfers conducted at our San Tan Valley location
  • We email our FFL license to your seller — we do not fax or mail it
  • Firearms not picked up within 30 days become property of Come Get Some
  • We will contact you up to 3 times during that period
  • Private Party (in-state): Both buyer and seller must be present
  • Online Dealer Transfers: Do not come in until we contact you confirming receipt — delivery confirmation is not enough
  • FFL to FFL: We ship within 48 hours of receipt — customer provides shipping box and covers all shipping costs
  • We only accept transfers from licensed FFL dealers — not private individuals from other states
